Active Citizenship Network (ACN) is glad to invite you on the 17 of June 2021 from 15.00 to 16.30 CEST to the event titled
Patients’ right to avoid pain: reducing the burden of COVID-19, promoting best practices across EU
It will be held in the framework of the cycle of Eu Webinars «Health at the heart of the future of Europe», which ACN will hold to feed the debate of the Conference for the Future of Europe and it will include the Award Ceremony of our bi-annual project: European Civic Prize on Chronic Pain Collecting Good Practices - III edition 2020-2021.
It will start by discussing the impact of Covid-19 on chronic pain patients, with concrete experiences and data from patients and health care professionals, also telling how the Eu institutions are working and supporting the topic and the innovation development about it; then it will continuing describing the European Civic Prize on Chronic Pain project and awarding the 4 winners and finally discussing the next step of work in this policy of chronic pain, focusing on pediatric and cancer pain. This multi-stakeholder event (civil society, patients, experts, institutions) has the aim to demonstrate what this community can offer in terms of raising awareness about the phenomenon, enhancing the body of knowledge of positive cases and successful experiences, and strengthening commitment to this topic.
